Kevin is an artist of the first class. I wanted a piece to keep the sun with me wherever I go, a reminder to look for the good, the beauty, the hope in the world. I wanted mountains to remind me of my gritty Western roots, and inspire me toward future adventures.

The statement piece Kevin created makes me feel that, and more. Though I wasn’t in it for the compliments, this majestic painting keeps them coming in. Thank you, Kevin, for sharing your art with me and others.

I’m available for commissioned pieces in various mediums, although I specialize in oil paintings. If there’s a palette or style you’re craving for your home or as a gift, please inquire below. I will respond as soon as possible to work out timing, payment, and delivery.

  • Typically the process is just a few steps:

    1. Come see the work in person in my studio, or I can bring pieces to you.

    2. We’ll discuss your vision for the piece and alignment with your space.

    3. I’ll draft out some loose digital renders so that you can “see” the piece in your space.

    4. We’ll finalize dimensions and logistics with a deposit.

    5. I’ll work on the painting and deliver and install it!

  • I can craft a painting that suits your space with minimal direction. I’ll request photos or a visit to ensure color and thematic harmony.

    If you have strict concepts in mind, I’ll take that into account. This might be in the realm of subject, color, theme, or style.

    I often ask the following:

    On a scale of 1-10, how “abstract” to “real” do you want your painting?

    On a scale of 1-10, how “bright” or “dark” do you want your painting?

    Of my styles, do you prefer more brushwork or more textured palette knife strokes?

    Are there colors you want to explicitly avoid?

    You can answer these, or leave the process up to me!

  • I typically ask 3-6 months for the completion of a painting, depending on the size of my commission queue. Dry times may vary. It’s entirely possible that I finish the piece ahead of schedule, so I ask 6 months as a conservative estimate.

  • Yes! I’m more than happy to hang your painting.
